In our reveal of Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns ™, we told you that specializations are our way of giving existing professions new skills and traits. Specializations are actually a much bigger addition that will have an impact on both new and existing skills and traits. Scourge is just amazing for open world PvE, having it all on demand: Fear for breakbar, Heal with barrier, Condi cleanse and Condi damage on the F bars. Ancestral_Grape. Good build diversity, can cover most roles in pve, each specialization is viable in every gamemode (although Weaver is abit on the weaker side in pvp). It has incredible dmge potential (3/5 PvE top dps builds are ele atm) very strong in support & pugzerg dps in WvW and 2 meta roles in pvp aswell. Marksmanship augments and improves ranged combat, utilizing a powerful opening strike to debilitate enemies and pick them off before they can close the distance.
